All persons intending to attend the Conference must complete an online Registration Form.

Early Bird Registrations
To be entitled to the early registration fee you must have registered and paid by Tuesday 28 November 2023.
Low and Middle Income Countries
Delegates from these countries as defined by the World Bank will eligible for the low and middle-income registration rates. Please refer to the World Bank list at https://data.worldbank.org/country/XO.
Student Registrations
A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or a holder of an international student card (submitted in English). Students must be studying full-time to qualify for the discounted rate. A copy of your student identification card must be uploaded during the registration process or emailed to the Conference Managers via email register.ottawa2024@arinexgroup.com. Without this, the full registration fee will be charged.
Junior Doctor / Junior Health Professional Registrations
The junior doctor / junior health professional rates are applicable to delegates who are within their first three (3) years post qualification.
Virtual Registrations
The virtual platform will not be streaming the full Conference program nor the pre-Conference workshops. Only limited program sessions will be streamed.
Visa Requirements
All visitors to Australia must have a valid visa to travel to and enter Australia. Please note that, for international participants, to obtain an Australian visa an invitation letter is not required. Once you have registered and paid the registration fees in full then your confirmation of registration or tax invoices for payment of registration fees is sufficient to lodge with your visa application.

Note – it is strongly recommended that Australian visa applications are lodged at least 2-3 months prior to departure from your port of origin.

HIGH ACCOMMODATION DEMAND NOTICE
The 2024 Ottawa Conference will be held at a time when three international artists have concerts scheduled in Melbourne. We anticipate accommodation and flights may be at a premium during this time and we urge you to reserve your accommodation on via the registration form as soon as possible to avoid missing out.

In-Person Full Conference Registrations
- Morning, lunch and afternoon break catering
- Access to the Welcome Reception
- Opportunity to purchase additional guest tickets for social functions, if required

Virtual registrations
- Full access to the Conference online program platform
- Live Q&A and interactive discussion opportunities via the online platform, allowing you to interact with speakers and other delegates in real time
- Virtual content to be available for up to one month post-Conference
Registration confirmation
Your completed registration and successful payment will be acknowledged via email with a confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form. Your registration will only be processed or confirmed if payment does accompany your form.
Name badge
Each delegate of the Conference will receive a name badge upon registration. The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times to obtain entry to all sessions and to social functions. The Conference Managers expect appropriate behaviour from attendees and reserve the right to revoke the badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner.
Credit Card
Please note all online registrations require immediate payment by credit card. Accepted credit cards are MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘Conference by Arinex’.
Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference Managers at register.ottawa2024@arinex.com.au.
Registration Fees: Cancellations on or before Tuesday 28 November 2023 will incur a $150.00 AUD cancellation fee. Cancellations from Wednesday 29 November 2023 to Monday 15 January 2024 will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations after Tuesday 16 January 2024 will not be entitled to refunds.
Social Tickets: Payments are non-refundable from Tuesday 16 January 2024.
Whilst unlikely, should the Conference need to change from hybrid to a fully virtual meeting format, all delegates will automatically receive refunds for the difference in registration amounts between the two categories, and transferred to a fully virtual registration option.
The program is correct at the time of publishing. The organisers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items from the program or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the Conference timetabling and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice. Neither the host organisation(s) nor the Conference Managers will accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes.
The Conference Managers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Conference for promotional, advertising or reporting of the Conference and/or its content at their sole discretion.
The Organiser of Ottawa 2024 (the “Event”) reserve the right to remove from the venue/Event at any time any attendee deemed to be causing, or potentially causing, a disturbance or exhibiting disruptive or inappropriate behaviour. Such removal does not constitute a right to refund of any fees paid. Please view the Code of Conduct here which all attendees are expected to comply with.
